Virtual Meetings: System Requirements
For events participating in networking with Virtual Meetings (online video or audio calls), we highly recommend that users first perform a system pre-check. This pre-check should take place prior to scheduled meetings so that troubleshooting or updates can be done. DEVICE SUPPORT
PC & Mac Computer
- Supported Browsers: Latest releases of Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge (Chromium Version), Safari 12.1+, and Opera
Apple Mobile
- iOS: Must have iOS 9 or higher
- Devices: iPhone 5s, SE, 6 Plus, 6, 6s Plus, 6s, 7 Plus, 7, 8 Plus, 8, X, XR, XS, iPad Pro 1st & 2nd generation, iPad (2017), iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad 4th generation, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPod touch 6th generation (Important: Low end iPhone, such as iPhone 5, will only support 4 simultaneous users. Newer phones, such as the iPhone 7, will support up to the max. participants for a meeting set by Jujama.)
- If using Jujama web app on Safari vs. Jujama mobile app, the iOS version must be 12.2+ (Safari 13+ required for screen sharing)
Android Mobile
- Android 4.1 or higher (Important: Low end Android devices could potentially have issues due to inadequate CPU.)
- If using Jujama web app vs. Jujama mobile app, Chrome on Android is also supported
MINIMUM BANDWIDTH
Note: Higher bandwidth will enable higher quality
- Video & Audio Streams: 350kbps per stream times the number of people in the meeting (Example: 350kbps x 4 people = 1.4mbps)
- Audio Only Streams: 30kbps per stream times the number of people in the meeting (Example: 30kbps x 4 people = 120kbps)
NETWORK, CAMERA, & AUDIO
- Firewall must not block Web RTC sessions
- Camera and microphone must be accessible by the browser
